1 Who we are

TNT Renders (“TNT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Calgary-based architectural rendering and design studio that provides visualization, BIM modeling, and related consulting services. Our website tntrenders.com (the “Site”) is one of the primary ways prospective and existing clients learn about, request, and manage those services.

2 Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you:

  • visit or interact with the Site;

  • request quotes, proposals, or free resources;

  • purchase services or digital products;

  • subscribe to newsletters or marketing communications; or

  • otherwise engage with us online or offline.

Because we are a Canadian company, our core obligations arise under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). 4 How we use your information

  • Service delivery – prepare quotes, produce renders, deliver files, and manage projects.

  • Account & billing administration – verify identity, process payments, send invoices and receipts.

  • Communication – respond to enquiries, send project updates, and provide customer support.

  • Marketing & analytics – send newsletters (only with your consent), analyse Site performance, improve UX.

  • Legal compliance & fraud prevention – maintain records, detect misuse, and satisfy lawful requests.

6 Sharing & disclosure

We never sell personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers – secure cloud hosting, payment processors, analytics, CRM/e-mail platforms—solely to operate our business.

  • Within a business transfer – merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with appropriate safeguards).

  • To comply with law – governmental or court requests, or to defend legal claims.

  • With your consent – e.g., publishing a finished render in our public portfolio.

All vendors sign data-processing agreements requiring confidentiality, minimal use, and adequate security.

7 International transfers

TNT’s primary servers are located in Canada, but some trusted processors operate in the United States, the European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions. Where cross-border transfers occur, we rely on:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (for EU/UK users);

  • contractual obligations ensuring equivalent protection; or

  • your explicit consent.

8 Cookies & similar technologies

  • Essential cookies – enable core site features and security.

  • Analytics cookies – help us understand traffic patterns (e.g., Google Analytics IP-anonymized).

  • Marketing cookies – only if you opt in, to personalise ads or retarget.

You can manage cookies via our banner or through your browser settings. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not affect basic site functionality.

9 Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above:

  • Contact, billing, and project files – 7 years (typical Canadian tax-audit window).

  • Marketing data – until you unsubscribe or two years after last engagement, whichever is sooner.

  • Analytics logs – 14 months (Google Analytics default) unless aggregated/ anonymised sooner.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it securely or anonymise it for statistical use.

10 Security

We employ industry-standard safeguards including:

  • TLS 1.3 encryption in transit;

  • server-side encryption at rest;

  • role-based access controls;

  • regular vulnerability scanning and backups;

  • security-awareness training for staff.

No method is 100 % secure, but we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.

11 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access – request a copy of your personal information.

  • Correct – ask us to fix inaccuracies.

  • Delete – have data erased (subject to legal retention exceptions).

  • Restrict or object – limit certain processing or direct marketing.

  • Portability – receive data in a structured, machine-readable format.

  • Opt out of targeted advertising / “sale” (CPRA) – we do not sell, but California users may exercise opt-out rights via the “Do Not Sell/Share” link where applicable.

We will respond within 30 days (Canadian & EU standard) or the timeframe required by other applicable laws.

12 Children’s privacy

Our services are aimed at professionals and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13 Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites (e.g., payment gateways, social media). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review those sites’ policies before providing any information.

14 Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date and, where required, sent by email or shown via a banner before they take effect.
